木塑的应用范围较广，木塑型材安装时必须保证适当的间隙，并且直接安装在托梁上。不要把木塑型材直接固定在任何的固体表面上，诸如塑木地板，混凝土，屋面板或天台等。

当型材直立安装时，且长度大于3米时，每端要用4个对夹螺丝固定。且竖向螺丝间距在40cm以上，使每端4只螺丝平均受力。
